Bee on a Globe Thistle Card

‘On top of the World’ – blank greetings card

This beautiful card has been digitally printed from my original limited-edition reduction Lino cut print. The original print 1 of 27 won the Essdee Award at the Ironbridge Fine Arts Printmakers Annual Open Competition and Exhibition.

Watching the bees in the garden this summer, I was drawn to the stunning colours of the bee on the globe thistle. It was amazing watching the bees completely and utterly absorbed in their work – that one moment in time where the flower is literally ‘the whole world’ for the bee.

It is printed onto smooth 300gsm 100% recycled matt white card and comes with a white envelope and is 15cm x 15cm.

This card will be posted in a brown, card backed ‘Do Not Bend’ envelope.
